A New Year

For me, 2008 has begun with many challenges. The challenges I’m facing are due to decisions I have made to make changes in my life. Many of the choices I’ve made in sobriety have directly affected significant other people in my life.

What I’m learning during this stressful time is:

When one door closes another door opens.

Gifts in recovery come in all types of packages.

I can face any challenge if I have faith in my Higher Power.

The best decision I ever made was my decision to give up drinking!

I am grateful for all of the doors that open, the gifts I'm receiving, the faith I have in my HP and my ability to live life on life's terms!
