Got Any Hope, Strength, Experience?
Would you like to share?
While Rabbi Pinson is away in Israel, it's time for the rest of us to step up.
I notice that people don't post comments very much on this blog. But think of this blog as an AA meeting.
Any time you read a post and don't comment, it's like passing at a meeting. You can do that if you want. But everytime you do share -- even if you think you have nothing special to say -- you may just be the one through whom G-d has chosen to speak to someone out there struggling.
Would anyone care to comment on that?

Rabbi, thanks for the reminder. I am on vacation and I forgot to put my part in.
Keep posting
I agree. The reason that I have not been checking this blog as much is because very few people ccomment.-(and my girlfriend took my laptop because her's is broken)!! Anyway- it sure would be nice to read more comments. I would like to share something from the teachings of the Rebbe. I have studied this before, however this time it really struck me. I think it may be helpful to recovering addicts.
"You cannot blame yourself, never mind persecute yourself for how you feel.
But you can rejoice in the battle of controlling and sublimating those feelings.
Every small victory within yourself is a major triumph over the darkness of this world. Indeed, this is why this darkness was placed within you, in order that you may transform it into great light."
Good Shabbos everyone.
I always try to share at meetings keeping in mind that I may help someone else. However, sometimes, passing at a table can teach some people a valuable lesson about humility.
